I could care less who shows up TBH, but don't complain about the costs of racing when this stuff happens. I have no problem with Scott and other guys running this race, as long as they are allowed to, they should IMO. Big purses to control costs is not effective was my point.

yep , now if they made them run non adjustable oil shocks , no bumps or stacks or 2 stage , and one shock per wheel and one tire with no grooving or sipping , except for aero advantage , i wouldn't care who showed up ,

Yeah I think its bs myself. If Swainsboro any balls they wouldn't let guys like jd, Scott, Bronson, Rambo, Hudson, Ross, Ferguson and ect race the event. Anyone raced more than 10 super late race they shouldnot be allowed to race any big money crate event.

I think it’s the one Fastrack World Championship Race that only allowed strictly crate guys. Think the $5k one.

I’m like alot of you. We in the minority probably on this but who cares. It ain’t right for big time drivers to run lower class events. If I was a promoter, it’s my track, my event, no super driver that’s won a 10k super event in the last 2 years would be allowed to race a crate, 604, limited, whatever. ....and if I was a small time driver and made the event and getting lapped, I’d stick it in that big time super driver if he was lapping me to help out a fellow small time crate driver win.

No. But his experience is something you don’t ignore. It’s not just him, any top late model to me shouldn’t be allowed. If you’ve won a series race paying say $10k in the last year from the date of the race, you cannot race. I’d even put them limits on when Bloomer etc crosses over into modified racing.

I don't have a problem with it. Steel sharpens steel. These crate teams have an opportunity to race against and learn from the greatest of all time. Maybe they can tuck in behind him and watch his line. See what they can do differently to keep up. It provides them a chance to beat Scott Bloomquist and put a giant feather in their hat. If I were a competitive crate team, I'd jump at the chance and also be offended that some of you aren't giving them a chance to win.

I think too many people are expecting him to win. Other than the win at the World Finals, he's really been sub par.

Saying certain guys cant race a particular race because they are "too good" or "have too much money" or "too much experience" is the equivalent of handing out participation trophies. Its a crate race not a beginner/intermediate race. If the car is legal then thats all that matters. I think itd be fair if a series or sanction wanted to put a restriction on a big event and say you had to run X amount of races to race a particular event but thats not the case here.

I've got an idea. Dump crate racing all together. Those that can't afford to go super then drop back to b-mods or street stocks. Those that can move up will only strengthen the super car counts.
