Sure wouldn't want to miss a 55 mph race.

The best races are not at the fastest tracks in my opinion. Not trying to say the Dome is the best race, just saying MPH isn't the end all be all.

Not going say it's my cup of tea. But they are doing something right with the drivers they get and crowd it draws. It does show off drivers wheeling ability being that tight to each other.

I'm not sure if I read right but my understanding is the track is going to be a bit wider than previous events?

Probably not that fast I gave them the benefit of the doubt I was watch it last year and I thought they threw the caution but they hadn't that was as fast as they could go.

Surely the world is full of dipchits who don't want to go miss a 190 mph race...Nascrap!!!
Speed does not make a race...some of the best "RACING" I've seen has been in the slower classes...
3Wide, maybe you're thinking of John Force and friends...

The 55mph is probably the best thing about this race. It takes big engines and some of the aero out of the race, making it a better deal for the low budget teams. Fred Flintstone is just as fast as George Jetson. We will see the better drivers moving forward. If they have a seat of the pants feel for what the tires are doing and a foot that will go along and fast hands, They have a chance.

If you ever have seen a race at Macon Ill. You know that great racing is not all about speed. Its about side by side racing, with a little beating and banging thrown in. That race two years ago with Babb taking the win, was a Kicka$$ race for sure.
