SAN TAN VALLEY, Ariz. (November 26, 2018) — Fans will see the FK Rod Ends
and San Tan Ford logos throughout the Jan. 5-13 Keyser Manufacturing Wild
West Shootout presented by O’Reilly Auto Parts as the two companies have
joined to sponsor the official pace truck that will lead the fields at FK
Rod Ends Arizona Speedway.
San Tan Ford joins FK Rod Ends in 2019 to form a corporate combination
backing the pace vehicle that will be highly visible leading the pack all
six nights of the mid-winter motorsports extravaganza in the desert.
Southington, Conn.-based FK Rod Ends has become a high-profile supporter
of the Wild West Shootout, following its debut as the event’s pace truck
sponsor in 2017 with Arizona Speedway’s naming rights the following year.
The business offers almost 10,000 combinations of rod ends and spherical
bearings crafted at its state-of-the-art manufacturing facility.
The pace truck is supplied by San Tan Ford, a new and used Ford dealership
in Gilbert, Ariz., near the 3/8-mile dirt track that hosts the Wild West

The 2019 Keyser Manufacturing Wild West Shootout presented by O’Reilly
Auto Parts will pay out over $200,000 in purses over six nights of Super
Late Model, Modified and X-Mod racing. Action begins on Sat., Jan. 5, and
continues with events on Jan. 6, 9, 11, 12 and 13.
The Wild West Shootout also features the Keyser Quarter-Million Challenge,
which for the fourth consecutive year offers Super Late Model drivers a
blockbuster $250,000 bonus for sweeping the six features. In addition,
winning five of six features will earn a racer an extra $100,000;
capturing four A-mains offers a $25,000 prize; and topping three
headliners will provide a $10,000 check.
