usually won't come to the defense of anyone getting booted here. mainly because I have knowingly flirted at the edge several times.

I will make sort of an exception here. and this only applies to the racing portion of these boards.

I have battled with clayton here frequently due to our differing opinions on some of the superstars of racing. and this goes back to when there was a nascar forum. some of the debates were intense. several with cheap shots.

but it never got personal. and I think that is frequently where things go wrong here.

what he did to get booted, I have no idea. maybe gone for the right reason? funny thing is once upon a time he was rumored to be a moderator!

in the end I guess I hate to see an old timer get tossed.

if on timeout: wetter... get your spit together. and don't come back just to push the issue.

if you can't come back, but can still visit, I get the last word!!!

Once upon a time he was a solid poster, but he had become more of an agitator towards some posters in recent years. I doubt he did any particular thing to get banned, but it was a cumulative thing over a couple years.

He had a weird stalker-ish obsession with me since he first joined. I tried to stop it, but it's continued til ...now. He use to send me weird and vulgar private messages. That ended when he met me, or saw me, at Brownstown. I hate people like that. I try to get along with everyone, but with some it's not possible.

Theres lots of people that I dont agree with on things and they dont agree with me, CnB, Terry, SS, Kwd, Josh B are some of those people, but I still like and respect them and we have good dialogue because they are respectful to me. Like a few people said he was an agitator and if he had a hard on for you he was intolerable. I had no use for him...

I wasn't implying that flagone is a snitch, that was just the least time I seen Clayton post, and it's weird that all of his posts are now gone.

I didn't like how Clayton always brought politics to this section of the forum, or how he never agreed that a slick race track produced good racing, but that was just him and his opinion. I've never had a problem with him or flagone either one.

I liked ol Wetter. Met him at Eldora years ago. Nice guy. But i’d like to know exactly why he got the ax. Mods should explain in some kinda way. That’s the right thing to do. I got banned a week before and it was explained to me why. So I’m curious.
