I'm going to catch he!! for this... but The Summer Nationals feels like it's turning into NASCAR with these weeks instead promoting as one tour. Anyone remember the Challenger Round, the Contender Round, the Eliminator Round, and the Championship 4 rounds of the NASCAR championship? Now we have Northern Kickoff Week, Legends Week, Challenge Week, Independence Week, and Champions Week for the Hell Tour.."The Wise One"

Seems like everything is like this now. Like this makes it more interesting to follow or something. To me it just makes it more confusing to follow. Don’t they have weekly points payouts too?
I could see if they had sponsors for each week which would help them payout and make more money but I guess that would require extra work.Last edited by waaac77; 12-05-2018, 11:51 AM.

They have an extra money payout at the end of each week for winning that weeks points. Paid $10k last year each week

quick thoughts:
the weekly sub-tours might add a few racers chasing extra money for a week that can't commit to the entire schedule.
glad to see Wilmot back on the schedule. definitely repeating my sycamore visits. and several others if I can get my wife's permission. And the days that I keep my gratitude higher than my expectations, well, I have really good days - Ray Wylie Hubbard

That is exactly why the break it into week long periods. At the end of each week they have additional payouts to the top finishing drivers of the week. A lot of the teams/drivers like it because they can take a weeks vacation and go race all week.Originally posted by klemmabyna View Postquick thoughts:
