I dont see what the big problem is, unless they are just scabby tight wads, but they sponsor the car so idk what the deal is..
It has to be a sweetners employee because the truck is registered to sweetners. All these semis run on E logs now and the driver has to be employed by who owns it. That part isn’t hard.

What’s fuking stupid is buying a hauler(that’s not a toter), and not having anyone to able to drive it. Get on Tmac all you want for not having a CDL. The fact is Carl Meyers made this difficult himself.

Isn't the big hauler the same one they've had for years and years? That big rig was pretty outdated anyway if I remember correctly.

Yes.... that hauler was getting ghetto looking. I thought Myers bought a new hauler and now can’t find someone to drive it.

Im not up on the trucker stuff but isnt that why they put "not for hire" on the side of the haulers to avoid this problem, correct me if im wrong wouldnt that solve the employee problem?

Yes, but the truck would have to be registered to an individual person. The “not for hire” and being registered as an RV would make them exempt from having to go through scales and such. DoT can still pull you over for reasonable suspicion for stupid things like speeding, clearance lights out and all that minor stuff.

Even with being registered as RV and not for hire doesn't make difference cause that is all for state licensing, dot says any time you have a chance to make money (example we race for money) it is considered commercial, so now we must follow dot rules

Don’t they have to prove you actually make money at racing? If every toter was now considered commercial..... then there would a 1000 additional Tmacs out driving around the country.

I’ve talked to a few DoT officers about this casually. You would be surprised how much they really don’t give a crap regarding this race hauler controversy. They have bigger fish to cook up.

You just don’t need your class A with the toters and stackers. They are registered as RV’s. But, you do have abide by the rest of the DOT stuff. That Not For Hire doesn’t really work anymore.

It is on Carl Myers for having a Semi and regular trailer, instead of the stackers. Which I’m sure he dies so the semi can be used for the business when not hauling cars.

If I was retired and he’d make it worth my while, I might do it for a bit. $300 per race and pay for all my expenses.
Up in the air who my next “favorite” driver is. Really losing hope on Bloomer getting anywhere back to “normal”.

Not trying to be nasty but I don't get why doesn't TMAC just buy a used toter and stacker, seems like he has good sponsorship for everything else, plus a salary from Sweetners. IDK how much out of pocket he has. But I know several guys that pretty much have to pony up and pay for stuff they want.

Its funny what people will convince themselves of. A hauler won't "WIN" you any races, it may keep you in the points, be very convenient and store lots of goodies, but chances are if your car is hurt bad enough to need a shop/parts room on wheels to support it, you won't be in victory lane, but you may make the feature. During the NDRA days nobody had toter homes and stackers and they traveled just as far as today's chauffeurs. I'd rather be better prepared to begin with than having to tow the shop behind me. Heck some 2 car teams got by with a cube van and a 2 up open trailer and they won the points as well as many crown jewels. If you want to race, you find a way. You may not be able to be as reckless as some of the kids racing today, but with age comes wisdom and you make better decisions on and off the track. In the photo below a cube van is the tow vehicle. Diesel fuel costs and insurance will eat you alive, scaling down would probably be a better way to go for some teams, they may even run better.

Along the coach roads I did ride
With sword and pistol by my side
                            and I am still alive

So how is Rocket1 for example suppose to use that when they are on the road for 6-8 weeks straight stretch? Sleep on the roof of the cube van? If your car is hurt bad enough that's why you have room to carry another until you can work out of someone's shop while on the road. Many guys do. I think Terbo worked out of 4-5 different shops his past season instead of going back to Texas. I think someone said they won't went back maybe once or twice.
