The ct525 engine has to be legal to run in the Woo series because he told the series that was the engine he was running when he signed up to run for Rookie of the year. He said he had 2 of those engines and will pull an open trailer with a dually. I never heard of this guy but it seems pretty cool to me.

in 2019 running the WoO tour with an open trailer and CT525 motor. I'm sure he will be tough to beat. You may as well give Ricky Weiss the trophy now.

Ricky will win the rookie deal hands down if he does the entire deal. Dillard looks to be a little better than expected but it's yet to be determined how good he's going to be when he gets to these tracks he's never been to.

How many WoO races do you have to race in to not be considered to be a rookie anymore? Seems like that Blake dude has been getting lapped in Bmains the last couple years on his “rookie campaign” for the first month or so than drops off.

I believe their is no race limit. Just wins. WoO has theirs at 5. If you have won 5 races that pay 10g to win on the tour, you are ineligible.

You can say the same thing about Weiss and seeing tracks for the first time. A lot of new real estate for both of them.

Ricky proved last year that he’s a top 20 car in the country. Dillard hasn’t yet. Ricky will get his notes from Scott. I’d bet the farm Ricky beats Dillard if they both go the distance.

He has $30,000 dollars in his race car and he is racing against $70,000 to $80,000 dollar cars. If he makes the first woo race of the year and finishes dead last, he will still be ahead on money of the winner of the race. He has $50,000 dollars on the field. I wouldn't say Weiss has been to ALOT of tracks. But I believe he's been to a few on the WoO schedule over the years. Remember though. Two other guys who run the same chassis have been to them also. McDowell and Bloomquist.

He maybe ahead but those guys probably have a little more than that into thier cars. And usually when that happens many have unlimited budgets.

The only way he makes any WoO races is if there's not a full field of cars, or provisional. And he will never be ahead in money over the rest of the field as most of these teams have unlimited budgets.

I could see Weiss being in contention, not so much with Dillard. Kid is good, don't get it twisted, but he doesn't have a ton of super late model experience.

Should be a fun battle to watch... Yes Weiss has some great Hall of Fame help on tracks/cars/set ups/ etc..... But don't forget Mr. Dillard also has Hall of Fame member, Jimmy Mars and his MB Custom knowledge and car/track info, behind him as well.
