What's he going to do at Volusia for 4-5+ days? Maybe he'll explain to us here. He is a member.

I'm sure the 90 some other competitors that bought pit passes would tell you differently.

The National 100 has been about late models since the beginning.

Pretty sure I saw Barry in their pit most of the day saturday. Don't remember seeing him sunday.

Lol. The National 100 that pays $25k or $30k some years is 100% about late models, end of story. This 9 other divisions to get remotely enough to cover costs because of the burnt bridges etc, is I guess about other guys. If you don’t get my point, oh well.

And frankly, I wouldn’t go to either, because of the way they run things.
Up in the air who my next “favorite” driver is. Really losing hope on Bloomer getting anywhere back to “normal”.

Funny how the DoD write up mentions an asterisk likely next to Heitts name because the date change, laps change and payout change.

[QUOTE=MI Dirt Fan;2245214]I went to a track one time. They ran three 4 banger classes. Never went back even though they ran LM weekly also.

I went to a track one time that had seven classes, four of them 4 cylinders. The four cylinder drivers drove better than the higher classes and with much fewer cautions. A couple of them had no cautions. In this case, they weren't the one holding up the show. Also went to a track one time that in the super street class, had a 30 minute time limit and no laps were completed because the front row drivers kept wrecking, blocking the track so no one could race back to the flag.

I did not get to go because i lost another good , good friend from the racing community , L C Whaley and had to attend his funeral Sunday , man , thats 2 in less than two weeks , first my young friend , Johnathan Merrit ,29 , and L C , 92 . I just finished watching the races , including the tribute to Johnathan , I still do not care for the owners and the guy announcing sure let it be known that he did not like the negative comments on social media , well, guess what , when you screw people over as much as that bunch has , this is what you should expect , with that said , as far as watching the race , i thought it was a pretty good show , never thought i would be saying that , but , i will give credit where credit is due , i still think it is a great facility and maybe one day when it is under new owner ship , i will go back , but im not holding my breath.....JMO........
