            Aside from the 525 crate engine,LS engines are pretty much a non entity in late model racing. Very intriguing post....

              The LS platform along with the Gen III are pretty reliable in nearly stock form in a 700 HP configuration. The Canadian NASCAR road course series is dominated by the Hemi.

              Funny how you can run a $50,000 engine (all aftermarket parts) but the sanctioning bodies are afraid of coil packs and twin plugs (on the Mopar).
