Where you all at on RULES at weekly tracks and Series being about the same?

Where you all at on DIVISION RULES at weekly tracks and Specials / Touring Series being about the same across the board?

No matter the divisions weather it be: Late Models, Modifieds, Sprints, Midgets, Stocks, 4 Cylinders, ect..?

IF RULES WHERE MORE THE SAME WHOULD CAR COUNTS LIKELY GO UP ACROSS THE BOARD?

YEAH IT WOULD BE NEARLY IMPOSSIBLE TO DO; BUT IF IT DID HAPPEN WHAT WOULD BE THE OUT COME?

I just red this article on Asphalt racer Bubba Pollard going off at the drivers meeting during Speedfest at Watermelon Capitol Speedway in Georgia.

Lack of common rules has nearly killed asphalt racing. Seldom do you know who wins when you leave the track - the tech check takes out a lot of apparent winners. Common rules will help save racing and increase car counts.

The thinking of promoters around us is like someone playing poker scared! You going to loose if you play scared. The idea of make rules to tie you to just my track/series will end not well ( low car count) we have 4 tracks less than an hour between all four and 2 more hour and a half, but none work together or have same rules. I think one is not even running this year and is on the WOO schedule. Guess they forgot to let them know they didn’t even have the track this year.

Three tracks have agreed on the same rules for llms. Each track will have 5 races each, paying a minimum of $3k each! Most likely there will be a couple of $5k shows and 1 $10k show.

what area would this be. that's really good for limiteds but most big limited shows are just top heavy still pays the same from second on back as a regular show . Hopefully this is not the case with the show's you are referencing

I have always thought that there should be 1 rule book to define a class across the country. SLM-CRATE LM-MODS- CRATE MOD- DIRT STOCK...The car in ohio should be the same car in texas or florida to Washington state.
And the structure of how to race should be the same as in (stop on the track go to the tail whatever the reason ).so on and so on......
Lucas and WoO and other "sanctioning bodies " should run the same configuration (rule book) as the Saturday night weekend warrior racer. .
If a track wants to have a one of a kind class thats between the racers in that class and the track but NO RULES could be changed or modified to fit the tracks desires in the URR UnifiedRulesRacing sanction....
I would like to see this take off with the BEST of THE BEST rules book per class.

North FL, South GA.....not sure about the payout, but probly pretty close to the weekly payout.
