    Shaver/Durham/Warner 410 Ford

Just read the Tony Stewart Racing press release and it stated Ron Shaver, Andy Durham, and Ricky Warner teamed up to develop the new Ford Performance 410 sprint car engine over the last two years for TSR that they are using in 2019.
Thought it was neat to see a guy that's been successful in the LM world involved in helping to develop the new Ford sprint car engine.

There was a video on Twitter of it being dynoed a awhile back.

Finally the @FordPerformance 410 sprint car engine with @TonyStewart_Rcg heads made it’s debut at the dyno today. Stay tuned for updates. I’m a proud father πŸ‘πŸΌπŸ˜‚πŸ‘πŸΌ

Since that's his new baby, according to the pics from the Chili Bowl, he must be pregnant again!

Gonna be just like the RY45 deal. If you dont have one you have to get one to compete and gonna raise the cost again. So the cookie crumbles

Speaking of a little sprint car talk. Little different look for Schatz this year.

Full car photos coming soon, but I like it. The blue is what @yakgraphicsinc calls a candy blue, with @rushtruckcenter red & yellow accents. It’s a new look for us, looking forward to putting it on the track next week at @VolusiaSpeedway πŸ‘πŸ»

So TSR has been working on this engine combination for two years. It must be ready that they have plans to use it for 2019. Be a very interesting year in the Sprint Car world.

WoO have a little better cost control rules in place hence all the r&d tonget this engine developed...can't use a RY45 from what I hear.

I am really curious as to what head design will be on this new Sprint Car Engine. I will have to go to the first WOO sprint car race in my area to check it out. I wonder if Dirt Monthly magazine will do a feature on it ?

Very interesting. I wonder what kind of exhaust port and intake port shape the TSR head has and what the combustion chamber looks like.

a few ford builders have been working on a in-line valve head , similar to the edelbrock victor head , they dont produce the all out power the canted valve head does but has a lot smoother torque curve from 3000 rpm up ...........and less expensive .....

If the TSR head is an inline valve head, I wonder if it is a tunnel port design .
