Do you agree with spotters/signallers in dirt racing?

Top / good drivers know where the competitors signal guys are. They watch them too plus their own.

One track we attend the spotters are positioned along the backstretch wall in front of us. It’s interesting to watch the interaction. Some only seem to convey where the closest pursuer is while others impart more detail. And to my eye no one is better at it than the Pierces, especially during a yellow. When Bob calls for something Bobby responds, often with good results.
