He ran down the rest of the field, but he didn’t have anything for Shep.

Lightening Larry wins the Mod feature! I could watch these guys every night. Definitely my 2nd favorite dirt racing class and have been for about 15 years.

Replay of the WOO feature starting right now. I think I’ll watch it again.

I grew up on them...or their forerunners rather. My hometrack (also Kevin Kovac's) was Flemmington Speedway - Modified Country USA. The only thing I knew of Late Models was hearing there was a race called the World 100. I saw Billy Pauch as a rookie. Guys like Barefoot Bob used to run there for the big shows. Jimmy Horton ran there...Brett Hearne.

I stopped going once they paved it. Soon after they tore the place down and made it a shopping mall. Like with Late Models, the cars aren't anything like I watched as a kid in the 60s and 70s, but they're fun to watch. Tonight's feature was great.

That’s awesome. You and I are sort of opposites. I grew up in dirt late model country. My first race was Eldora in 1980. My home track was/is Florence, KY (even though I moved to GA 5 years ago). Starting around age 20, I began just hitting whatever big DLM show I could find within a 2- or 3-hour drive. Fast forward to 2007 and I made a two-year job transfer to New York. No late models there, but I needed my dirt racing fix lol ... so, hello SuperDirt Mods. I saw probably 20 races over two years, and have loved them ever since.
