I'm not sure, Terry M. I just saw the results on DirtonDirt.com. I've never been there myself. I am curious to know, as well. Thought about possibly taking in the LOLMDS race there in April but not sure. Wish I knew...

Heck of a track to watch a race at...when it’s right. It’s been a long time since North GA’s really been at its best. Tonight was decent as far as the super race. A few guys came on up through the field a little bit, but once the black started showing about halfway through the feature that was pretty much all she wrote. As for the upcoming Lucas race...Dale McDowell is co-promoting that race, and was at the track tonight to work on figuring out logistics as far as getting fans and drivers in and out better, improving cars getting on and off the track, and speeding the show up to get folks out of there at a decent time on a night when North GA will host the biggest race it’s had in quite some time.

Super race was wasn't bad. Hiett applied heavy pressure once, he actually scraped the outside wall getting into one looking outside of Page once. After that there was a caution and Page stayed fairly comfortably ahead. McIntosh was 10th or so to 5th. Clanton 12th to 4th. Top 10 were all quality racecars.
Crate $1000 to win top five (27 cars)
Chip Brindle
Heath Hindman
Cruz Skinner
Rusty Ballenger
Lamar Scoggins or Mitchell Stanley
McDowell was definitely an interested observer. Some program continuity things to fix before the Lucas show. Parking was problematic as numerous people were getting stuck. As much rain as we've had, that was unavoidable.Last edited by B_K; 03-03-2019, 12:58 AM.

Ideas: Ticket sales - put about 10 people moving down the rows of spectator vehicles, and they can sell tickets to people with exact change.
Time savings: One of the previous operators cut an opening in the wall in turn two (The new opening was boarded up last fall.) It allowed cars to enter and leave the pits at the same time.
