Actually the drivers meeting was closer to 6:30. The muddy grounds proved to be challenging in parking rigs and spectators so it took longer to get folks in thus pushing the drivers meeting. Then a problem with timing cost them nearly an hour. That is not an attempt to make excuses for them but that is exactly what happened. Once the scoring issue was fixed the on track activity rolled pretty well. I agree that the opening in turn 2 could save a lot of time as you could qualify cars directly from out of that opening and cut down on the time it takes to get all cars in the pit area. I talked to Chip and Kathie both last night about some suggestions. I think they will get it turned around with Dale's input for the Lucas show.
