Always enjoyed the big shows at the local tracks for 2 day shows hub city 150 winchester 200 vernon harris 100 and all the fall classics with the camp outs fires partys and dances what a good time wasnt in no hurry to get that over 70s 80s 90s were a lot of fun.

Promoters would be thrilled with 2 day shows. The drivers quit coming to 2 day shows, is why they've went away. Can't blame them though as nearly every track was having 2 day shows for $10k. That was taking money out of driver's pockets because they could race 2 nights at 2 different places for more money. Tracks could get by with 2 day shows now, but would have to be very careful with scheduling and probably pay $20k minimum.

2 day shows are just about as dead as a regular Saturday race.

2 day shows, once a good and needed thing, are now a bad and not needed period. I personally am ready for em to be history. Everyone, that’s drivers, crews, owners, and fans deserve a feature every night.

I've heard many a driver say anytime they can race multiple days and leave the hauler parked, it's a win win.. And yes, features each night.

HUH. Promotors today want to charge for everything, camping, 4 wheelers, golf carts. Any way to screw the fan base.

I would think a track/promoter with a strong fan base would love a two-night show with a 10k feature each night.

Sure the drivers would appreciate being parked on one spot for two nights as well.

Truthfully, it would be great if the S/N did this. Make every Thur/Fri at one track, Sat/Sun at the next. No more 5k to win on the weekends.

Night One, 40 laps for 8k
Night Two, 60 laps for 12k
If night one gets rained out, run 75 laps for 15k to win on night two.

Stop the "Hell Tour" insanity of 25-30 races at a new venue every night.
Run Thur-Sun for 6 weeks, 12 tracks/24 races, plus maybe a couple single day events on Mon or Wed.


That'll breathe some life back into two-night shows and the S/N.

I’m personally a fan of 2-3 day shows. The closest track to me with Lucas or outlaw racing is 6.5 hours away. I’d rather make it a relaxing longer trip and watch 2-3 nights of racing at one venue, to make it worth the money and drive. Even 3 days just fly by and then I gotta wait a year to do it all again.
