I was considering making the 5 hour trip to this race. Looking at the map, it looks like the grandstands are quite a way back from the track. Does this impact the view? Is there anything else I should be aware of before making my final decision?

Yes theirs a horse track in between the stands an track. Clear view of track the tough part to see of track is low turn 2 otherwise you can see whole track.

Farmer City is one of those classic venues, the kind you’ll be glad to put on your race fan resume one of these days. Illinois has several of them.

Don't expect to be able to hear the PA system. Make sure you are up on all of your shots before using the restrooms. Racing is usually good.

There is not many seats in the house where you can see the entire track. Those will be in top of turn one bleachers. Most of front stretch you lose them in turn 4 for a few seconds. Seating there has always sucked but the racing usually makes up for it.

Beasty, I would highly encourage you to make the trip!! It will be a good show you can bet on that. Yeah the restrooms are ran down but who cares. Pee next to your car or drive to Hucks or Casey’s to poop or do it next to your car too. I’ll leave that up to you!

Wal-Mart must be your favorite store too.

If there bathrooms are that bad, bring in enough porta potties to off set their crappers. Or fixing them is another grand idea.

We want new fans, and to keep people going to the track, and the advice is to piss by your car or crap next to it. 90% of the night that’s just not a good idea, the peeing part, crapping, never.

If I drive my truck and am leaving, yeah I’ll piss by my truck. But always trying to be alert of especially kids.
