Jesus Christ! get back on the track.

cause the rest of the story is nothing more than a long running cartoon.
He should be back real soon according to those 4m einsteins in the know and know the right people to call......I'm really surprised he didn't race Lucas last week already.

Kidding of course, just heckling the stupidity of some that claim to be the " all things DLM" experts....I think the partnership can't do anything but help Scott's off track issues, but to your point.....Scott's still got to take care of the driving it victory.
Where is the move over flag when you need it?????

It says its an organization and the iconic #0 driven by Scott Bloomquist is one of its drivers. All sounds a bit strange and vague. What will this "organization" be producing other than a race team that it already was?

          So you're thinking this might be a " rocky " relationship ?

The "conflict of interest" angle is kinda' interesting. Not positive but it's doubtful, in this case, that this collaboration would go beyond the scope of any anti-trust laws, state or federal.

The sanctioning body's could make an issue of it and legislate and/or rule accordingly. Beyond that, a "conflict of interest" issue will be fodder for dirt late model message boards and background conversations in late model racing circles and at racetracks, etc. It'll get very entertaining if it is to become an issue, that's for sure!

I don't see a lot of bankable assets in this deal.
You are 100% correct. You don't see a lot of his bankable assets because you have no idea his personal finances, or portfolio. Say what you will about Scott Bloomquist, but he did not get where he is without foreword thinking and being one step ahead. Generally, that translates off the track as well. Aside from building a brand which will likely carry on in the sport long after he is out of the seat, he is also heavily invested in areas outside racing as well.. including an aviation company. To say he is broke is nothing short of ridiculous, he is a smart man who has built a self sustaining and profitable program. 90% of his racing assets were probably paid for by other peoples money. His souvenir sales are off the chart. Cody is there to guide and grow this brand as he starts to wind down... the accident was probably a real eye opener in terms of putting things in perspective when it comes to the future. Like I said, he is always an innovator, one step ahead and far from an idiot financially. Unlike a lot of people speculating here. I am not even a fan, but I can admit he does everything with profitability at the forefront.

I wonder if ole Bloomie reads these threads? His head would be spinning. LOL

I guess it would be something for him to be entertained while he recoups.

As far as donating money for his recovery, Not likely. LOL

I am sure he has finances to handle his own situation.

So wait? He really was hurt in the accident?

I thought EB had climbed the hooterville pole and made some solid calls to the right people debunking all of the bloomer is hurt chatter.

Guess Mr Haney wasn't the guy to call after all for solid info?

Finally, an articulate, perceptive summation of what is very likely the real situation here. Thank you h81, I suppose it was worth wading through all the repetitive posts to get to this. For clarity, I'm not really a Bloomquist fan (or hater) either, but I think your post is dead on.

Now BBQ can resume with his mocking of the "he wasn't hurt that bad" narrative........because none of us ............have gotten the point already................

Assumptions and conjecture, when articulately and perceptively stated, remain nothing more than assumptions and conjecture. It's a very safe bet that no one here has any inkling as to how lucrative ol' bloomy's balance sheet really is.

In regards to the agreement and rumor of "D"

If you have a lifetime of building a brand and organization that will continue to compete in the DLM world when Bloomquist steps out of the car, you secure protection of the brand and assets. This is a paper dragon to protect his assets.... The chances of the agreement being dissolved post D is likely.

Sommer will get a taste for his trouble.

I think everyone but the guy that made the idiotic post to start with got it right from the very beginning that bloomer was indeed hurt pretty bad.....funny thing is, that same guy that made the post hasn't been around since to explain his multiple posts saying he stands by his credible information that bloomer isn't hurt that bad and should be racing soon.

                            And they wonder why?

Just saw that, still in denial about it too it looks like ......sometimes it's just ok to say you were wrong instead of trying to weave relevance back into a story that was made up.

Don't think he has that in him.
