They won 8 or 9 crown jewel type races in 2015 with the device and won 1 such race in 2016 without it. I think that device played into that success a little more than you give it credit for.
That little so called device helped bring about maybe the best season anyone has ever had in a late model. If it wasn't such a advantage, He wouldn't have fallen off as much as they did in 2016.

True, but that’s a story as old as the sport. The guy with talent who also has the current best car should win. Lots of money has been won playing in grey areas.

Thats right. It was approved by lucas officals then when the rumley gang showed how it worked they banned it.

I phrased it wrong. Wasn’t a legal/illegal issue just outside the box. Innovation has made a lot a good drivers great.

More accomplished for a career...T-Mac without question, hands down, agree 100%.

If we're talking recent history, say the last 2-3 years, I'd argue Marlar.
The guy won the WoO tour the first time he ran a national tour full-time and he beat the best team in the game right now to do it.

The last couple years, Marlar's been more consistent imho. T-Mac's had a couple nice wins, but the consistency hasn't been
there.

Two decent guys...so definitely a tie in my book on that.

Now im not trying to stir the pot here but one could also argue that it was consistency alone that brought marlar last year's title and not so much his but the other two guys lack of. It's like this take away one dnf from each of the other guys and marlar finishes third his first year on tour. You can't deny it's a little bit of a Cinderella story. Meanwhile tmac won the world 100 hands down. Just sayin

Both accomplished wheel men. T mac has won his share of bigger races. Marlar is someone that's a threat to win anytime. Marlar working at team rocket makes one wonder. May have been the right choice for all parties.

I'm pretty sure you are confusing Eddie Carrier with Marlar. Over the winter there was an announcement of Carrier working as a Rocket rep. I don't ever recall the same with Marlar
