Now im not trying to stir the pot here but one could also argue that it was consistency alone that brought marlar last year's title and not so much his but the other two guys lack of. It's like this take away one dnf from each of the other guys and marlar finishes third his first year on tour. You can't deny it's a little bit of a Cinderella story. I think the device was mostly about keeping the car on the bars even off throttle. In the time since, everybody else has figured out how do that without a device.

Yep, Bloomer most likely would have won the championship had the last 2 races not get rained out!
