I think the device was mostly about keeping the car on the bars even off throttle. In the time since, everybody else has figured out how do that without a device.

And even now if you watch closely the 49 cars lr still stays jacked up off throttle way more than other cars...

I think, more specifically, that Marlar and Gary Winger are pretty tight. Gary has been supplying shocks to Marlar and team for at least as long as the Bryson car.

When did Marlar go to work for Rocket? I thought he was doing his own towing/recovery business in Tennessee.

They’re probably confusing Carrier with Marlar. Mike has a successful business that I doubt he’d walk away from.

If those races hadnt rained out u do not know the outcome of the race so how can one say bloomer would have won title. Some one is red azzd cuz jd beat his boy.

Zzzzzzzz.........this just in, there's a man they call Superman who somehow has figured out how to win 2 Lucas Championships, 1 runner-up, 1 Lucas ROY, and maybe a 3rd Championship on the way.
Device or no device, JD is Top 3 in the country the past 5 years, and that's quite a bitter pill to swallow for many.

If grandma had nuts she’d be grandpa. The guy had a whole season to be leading the points he wasn’t. To blame an entire season’s results on two rained out reasons is a what sore losers do.

Get to the track on time and deliver every night. I don’t think anybody is disputing who the better driver is. He’s the best to ever sit in one IMO. He’s also consistently his own worst enemy.

Hard to blame weather and situations when the main issue is in the mirror.

I don’t think they had consistently. Yeah, they’d get him once in awhile. But it was usually only because JD got overzealous or broke.
