Ask the powers that be at 4m why they banned him? I’m sure it’s not some conspiracy theory. They’ve banned many lately who never deserved it. I’m guessing it’s something he has been told to not do multiple times and he keeps doing it. Though I have no idea. In the last year, only one person that I seen deserved the ban, and that took them forever for some reason.

But then they ran off some good posters too. We all have the right to free speech, no one ever seems to grasp that there are consequences for what you say at times.

The car jimmy is posing with was nicknamed “nelly” and that is the car he won the ump national championship with I believe. Sometime mid/late 80s. Did it with a pickup truck and a homemade trailer that didn’t even have a tire rack! Me and a guy that helped him were talking here a few months back and he was telling me he thinks that car is still racing as a sportsman with the addition of a stock stub

Doyle, I remember vividly one night during the UMP Summernationals at Farmer City back in the late 1980's, early 1990's. Jim Leka passed ol' snort like ol' snort was tied to a tree. I believe Jim was driving this car at the time. Ol' snort was winning a LOT of races in convincing fashion, probably the most dominant portion of his career during that time period and no one could believe it was possible to blow snort's doors off like Leka did that night, including me.

I was involved with a multiple FALS track champion late model team from that era. This particular driver thought a lot of Jim Leka. Jim helped out the team on more than one occasion. This driver was known to be quite handy with his hands and basically fearless and he said he wanted to implicitly stay on the favorable side of Jim Leka. Jim was someone who was not to be trifled with.

jimmys antics used to be quite comical. He had a long ongoing feud with (not a nice word)(not a nice word)(not a nice word)(not a nice word) Taylor. Those two were always trying to get under each other’s skin. Lol

One time at Macon jimmy got kicked out for something. Can’t remember what , but anyway he spread the rumor around that he filled the pits with roofing nails. So when I get there everybody is walking around the pits looking at the ground before they pull in. Needless to say no roofing nails but created quite the stir lol
