I didn't think that I said anything about Pollard but what I perceive him to be, which is a hard working guy that is happy with his position in racing. I really don't know what his financial status is but judging what has been posted here he doesn't have unlimited resources. I reread my post that you quoted and am at a loss as to how any of it can be construed as Pollard being a spoiled rich kid.

I thought I gave Pollard due respect, but maybe I've overlooked something. If I did say something that can be interpreted as disparaging it surely wasn't my intention.

I like how in the article he says he’d like to run WoO and then in the next paragraph mentions Davenport and Bloomer who are Lucas drivers. Shows how much he actually knows about dirt racing.

          Thumbs up for you.
Up in the air who my next “favorite” driver is. Really losing hope on Bloomer getting anywhere back to “normal”.

Replying to ShawnStreet asking if he is actually any good (because for some reason the quote button isn't working for me) :He has talent in the car. He's won some big races and run well against some big time guys. But he's also torn up an egregious amount of cars, both his own and others. And he's thrown away a lot of races.

His first dirt race should be with Jackie Boggs, the conleys,Tim dohm, Jason Jameson and the rest of the no nonsenserz from that region......that will be a yuuuuuge wake up call for the young man.
Where is the move over flag when you need it?????

This is the statement you made that I was referring to.

I would take just a bit of an issue with Pollard, as with Nasse, in reference to NASCAR being populated with nothing but money baby's.

Maybe I misunderstood what you were trying to say. I've known Bubba and his family for most of his life. I can tell you he has a very limited budget unlike a lot of other drivers like Nasse. He just works very hard and has a great group of guys around him. I hate that he never got his shot at NASCAR. I think he would turn a lot of heads.

We're on the same wavelength, clantonfan. Sometimes I don't type it like I'm thinkin' it, and vise-versa! LOL!

Since we switched to DirectTV over the new year I've been watching quite a bit of the racing reruns on MAVtv and have watched Pollard on several occasions. He always seems to be one of the guys that has to be dealt with in order win those races.

It sounds to me like somebody didn't do there homework before they wrote this article.

10-4. You are 100% correct about Bubba. If he is at the track he is the one you have to beat to win.
