Great read about Mark Richards, Joe Garrison/GRT, and Skip Arp on the shock behind setup. Sometimes even if you don't subscribe to DoD, you can still view some of the content. Not sure if this is subscribers only or not. Mark makes a lot of valid points as to why the modern day late model puts on a better show than it did say 20 years ago.

Great articles. The Bill Frye one reflecting on Joe and settling their differences near the end was very good as well.

Good stuff. A Mark Richards book here in a few years would be pretty cool. How he has great recollection of everything. Skip just thinking one day, wth, I’m going to try it. Man if he coulda disguised it somehow.

If only we had these late models on promoters tracks 20 years ago...back when a promoter was promoting RACING and not greed...
