34 track showed a lot of character tonight. I saw the race but still can't believe how these guy can control these race cars at such a high speed. An amazing show the Lucas drivers put on. The Oneals. JD, Richards and even oldster Moyer were in rare form. Very entertaining. Catch the video if you can.

I don’t blame JD for putting it up his butt. Wanna put it right in front of me outta 2 with like 3-4 to go, give him a shot. Now I don’t think JD meant to drill him that bad at all. But that kinda slide job crap there, off the turn at full throttle, you deserve to get punted.

Imo....oneal slid him and JD didnt like it...oneal didn't come across JD'S nose...he had a choice...lift and break his momentum or shove his nose up oneals rear for about a half a straightaway...which is what he chose...one things I love about dirt late model racing is that its NOT boring NASCRAP...slid jobs are part of dirt racing...

It’s not that he slid him, it’s where he did it. You gotta slide guys in the turn, where they have the opportunity to cut under you. Not outta the turn when you’re at full throttle and they just slide up. And any abrupt movement is going to screw you. O’Neal should know, as should every other driver.

I assumed this would be the case before I listened to the recap I guess, anytime a driver gives the ol "you know how hard it is to see outta these cars" you know where their headed.... not saying it's not but most people will realize he had a choice, to be honest I didn't think he lifted much if any untill he thought they where hooked together, just my opinion though an he was the car to beat majority of the night again ....
