Alex ferree was scheduled to start 2nd but had a broken seat belt after they announced the starting line up on the front stretch

Write up on DoD. He runs a ratchet type, and it was stuck all the way out. Jammed in there. So he did the smart thing and did not run. Made him take a lap to get his $500. Not quite sure I agree with that, but he latched his shoulder belts, and went real slow. Said because of how jacked up they were, he could barely turn the wheel. I think how tight he made them, put them in the way of the wheel. He explained it kinda. He is a big guy too. That would suck, but at least they messed up then, and not something during green flag conditions.

Ok to make I slow lap under green flag but not to race ..............seems odd ! Was everyone else going slow ?
