Not a new guy & no prior screen names! I would not allow myself to post/reply on anything -so as to not get into any peeing contest-that’s all. 4m is an outstanding source of information- but also comes with lots of b.s. and squabbling. Since 2010 just tried to read the good & ignore the bad. Can you imagine the post I have read over the last 9 years that I knew too be false-but but my tongue? Looks as tho-I should not post and just read & filter it all! And to mama- I promise you -it’s the same screen name since 2010 & like you my Eldora location has been section Aa for 24 yesrs

Again- I don't understand the need for your self biography on each of your post or the need to state your next event. I understand the rainouts effecting your race attedence- but how many people on 4m list every race they have attended or the next they plan to attend - what's the purpose ? Heck I attended 13 races in Florida in February allone- not counting the 2 rain outs while being at Bubba's & Volusia - point is nobody cares !
Kinda a "D!ck" thing to pick on someone's bio they want to share. So what he wants to show how many races he's attended? He's a fan and rarely offensive to anyone, unlike you. If you don't like his posts its very simple, DON'T READ THEM!

Count this as another vote for HDF's promoting of racing. I like to see the "car count" threads & other info hyping up the big races. Aren't we all here cause we love this stuff? I share his enthusiasm & enjoy his information gathering.

          Keep it up!!

At least he gets the info and breaking news right......just sayin.

Mr. BBQ - you are 100% correct. I made a mistake & apologized for it. Should have left it be. For years I have enjoyed reading your reply’s on 4m. I agree with you 99% of the time- just wish you & the pierce fans could somehow bury the hatchery ! After all: we are here because of the sport we love! That being said we should be able to “respectfully” agree to disagree! Again for all- I apologize to Hoosierdirtfan!!

Best part of the whole story is that he and his dad are trying to reconcile and work things out.......seeing the 23 back in the pits makes me smile.

                  Good stuff.

Right again BBQ ! I talked with Tom Buckingham yesterday morning before it was officially announced -that’s what he told me- just trying to mend some fences ! Looking forward to seeing John racing at the Dream! Hopefully he can shake off some rust if the weather permits the Appleseed Race. Don’t get much wheel time running a successful campground in Piegon Forge. Let’s all wish him well in his return regardless of the duration of it. He is a friendly & very approachable man!

me to BBQ , what few times i was around him , he was nice as he could be , as for his dad , all i know about him is what i saw on TV , some acted like he lined those miners up and shot them his self , and may be it was like he did , IDK , but i personally try not to judge , and defiantly do not hold any of that debacle against jon......

No-no-why you ask ? I am 62 & retired now. Just trying to enjoy life these days ! I do live in the middle of 3 Lucas travelers- Shannon Buckingham, Owens, Bloomquist. Been going to races since My dad started taking me at 5 years old. I races for 5 years starting at age 18- but going to college-working part time & racing out of my dad’s basement was became too rich for my blood ! I remember when Jimmy Owens first started racing at Bulls Gap, remember Bloomquist first 28’ enclosed trailer at Bulls Gap- heck it barely fit & took them 30 minutes to get the car unloaded out of it. Speaking of Bulls Gap: I was at the first race in 1973 & ironically Danny Burks from Virginia won the race in car #73. It had a Chevrolet laguna front nose that came out that year in 1973! Now days-is just a rabid fan going up/down the road admiring these guys for following their dreams- which I didn’t!

we ride motorcycles to the rod run in september every fall and camp down by the river at the KOA by dolly wood , just wandering if thats where you were...i met owens when he started in a street stock and have been friends ever since , hence the reason i get a little defensive about him on here some times , i would be willing to bet we have met some where over the years , i turned 56 on the 10th of this month and probably will never retire , or at least till im in the ground....lol.....btw , im still following my dream , its just through my kids now , but i still make a lap ever now and then.......

I check out his post for sure. Especially the car count ones. All good here HDF, I appreciate what you do. I’m not going to 50 guys website to see if they are coming, glad you do. So thank you.
Up in the air who my next “favorite” driver is. Really losing hope on Bloomer getting anywhere back to “normal”.
