Florence is much closer and especially considering he is running Eldora tomorrow, just doesn't make sense.
Isn't Florence supposed to be his families "home away from home"?
If nothing else, FALS is paying 3K to win and it's his backyard.

We're told by everyone invloved with Pierce that they are being smart and running local/regional to make a profit.

He doesn't need to race Lake Cumberland for more fans. They know who he is.
