The Earth's temperature has fluctuated wildly over the billions of years it has existed. Man made or not, it is getting hotter. This will make less of the planet hospitable for humans. A lower human population will be good for the health of the planet. It is just the Earth hitting the reset button. Why fight it?Comment

Keep listening to Alex Jones and watching the Blaze Wetter. I work outside, and have all over this country, including where you live. Climate change is real whether you want to believe it or not. Its not the fact we’ve always had some level of change; rather, it’s the rapid rate of change we’re currently in that is alarming. It’s getting warmer, the ice at the poles and the glaciers are shrinking, the birds are migrating earlier, the fires are getting bigger, the plants are blooming earlier, rains are often harder, the floods are getting bigger, and we’re setting average temp records almost yearly now. I know most of y’all are right leaners on here and that’s cool, but it doesn’t change the reality of the long-term situation. Sure there are plenty of alarmist types out there that hawk the worst -case scenarios, and they need to tone it down some. However, the head in sand deniers are just as bad, and usually do so to protect short-term profits or out of plain ignorance. Even the military is prepping naval yards and bases for the coming sea level rise. It's scientifically unsubstantiated as to whether global warming is a natural phenomenon or if it is the result of excessive human activity. What is abundantly clear is that there is obscene amounts of money available to be made by those who are involved with the business of what is perceived to be global warming reversal and future prevention.
Anytime there are huge sums of money to be made there is ample room for skepticism.
One thing that has been completely scientifically substantiated is the United State is NOT the largest contributors of global greenhouse gasses. As a matter of fact, considering the overall industrialization of the U.S., as a country we're doing pretty well when a fair comparison is made to the rest of the industrialized world.Comment

The minority 2% of the scientific community is bankrolled by the richest companies in the world (Exxon Mobil/BP/Shell/Andarco/etc.). The rate of increase in CO2 has skyrocketed in the past 50 years. And depending on which metric you use the USA is consistently Top 2 on emissions, the other country being China. We’re improving though, some because it’s cheaper to burn natural gas than dig and burn coal, and also because we’ve improved overall vehicle emissions.
