I may have mentioned something about changing the entry form on Babbs car from #0 to 18 about 11 days ago on another thread- hinted toward this in slot of ways-without blatantly letting the cat out of the bag!

There was hopes he would. Never was a definitive answer.

from what he said his injuries were there was a lot
of people WRONG about his accident.

What did he say about them? No broken bones or fractures, just some bumps and bruises, nothing major?

Listen to the DoD interview. A bunch of screws and pins in his hip because the leg was almost shoved into the hip socket. He had a 8-9 hour surgery was confined to a bed for 30 days after the surgery. That's why people that knew of the injuries were skeptical of a return for the World 100, let alone The Dream.

I think he’s coming back too soon....but having said that can you imagine a racer getting beat by a man that has to use a walker? I think I’d quit if I were the other guy.

Bloomer is officially back this weekend as per his website. With Babb entering a second bloomquist car entry. I can’t wait for this weekend!

Pretty amazing that he’s going to race so soon after those types of injuries. It’s going to be an interesting weekend, no doubt. I hope he makes the show. That in itself would be a huge accomplishment, all things considered.

If only he hadnt been hurt so badly he probably would have been back much sooner as some predicted.........who knew?
