Moyer Sr like many others has nothing left to prove. He might’ve cherry picked in the past but this is not a cherry pick. ...on another note, my personal belief is if you in top 10 in points of a national series, outside of a sudden engine / car problems, hauler trouble, or family issues, you should be at Eldora for the 2 biggies.

I've always been a Moyer fan and would hate to not see them run Eldora, but it is their choice. Sometimes I wonder if they should dabble in modifieds, heck you can go run 4 nights a week for 3k or more in the mods. Phillips and Wendell have done it. And like a previous poster said, I am not sure what is going on with JR. I am a fan of his but some of the moves he makes on the racetrack, especially last weekend, makes me wonder what is going on in his head, not that it is any of my business, just odd. He can run really well when he starts on the front, but if he don't, it is trouble.

In the end though, they will be fine without Eldora and Eldora will be fine without them.

Good, Moyer won't be able to slam somebody into the wall and then whine because they didn't just slow down and let him pass them.

i remember bobbys 1st world 100...he was 18...fit as a fiddle as they say...when he got out of the car he was exhausted...i think he went in the trailer for about 15 - 20 minutes before he came out to greet the fans...after that he hit the gym...so with that being said...maybe moyer at his age doesnt want to work that hard...he has nothing to prove..

Piercefan. I think sr is in a lot better shape than 1/2 the guys that will make the big show. Bloomer with his injuries has to be struggling to get in and out of the car. I understand the dollars on the line for this race. But if bloomer gets caught up in something, which that rarely happens, it could put him back months in recovery. Sr. I don't feel has anything to prove, I'd love to see him there, but if he's going after some regional dollars who can blame him.

Its a tough game sometimes, age takes over as well. People don't have any idea what it takes to be at the top of the game in these cars.

If he enjoys running local, or regional 3k to win shows, so be it, its his life and his equipment.
