The Firecracker was a prestigious race. The owners up there now brought in a crate race, why ? Who the h*ll knows. I was here, it was a frigid dust bowl. The track was sealed from all the rain. All the rain did create a couple ruts. But, with those crates cars being there it just sucked every drop of moisture from the surface. Mark Richards let the woo know he wasn't happy. So after a 4 hr drive I am going to stick around to see how deep they turn the surface and see how much water they can get in the track. If not it's off to port royal. I'm glad that we don't have crate classes in central pa is all I can say. One guy I sat beside said this was rush's biggest paying race. If so run them on a seperated night because the track was garbage early on.

Racing looked great to me? If you want speed go to a drag strip, want good racing go to a slick track with a good bottom and a cushion
