BRANDON OVERTON HOLDS OFF ECKERT FOR $20,000 USA 100 VICTORY AT VIRGINIA MOTOR SPEEDWAY
JAMAICA, VA - In the closest finish in Ultimate Super Late Model Series history Brandon Overton of Evans, Georgia held off Rick Eckert of York, Pennsylvania by .119 seconds to score the $20,000 victory in the "43rd Annual USA 100" at Virginia Motor Speedway Saturday June 15th. Rick Eckert, Ross Bailes, Zack Mitchell, and Chris Ferguson rounded out the top five finishers. Ross Bailes set fast time qualifying with a time of 17.461 seconds to earn the Davis Diesel Service Fast Qualifier award. Heat race winners included Ross Bailes, Michael Brown, Chris Ferguson, and Daulton Wilson.
The Ultimate Super Late Model Southeast Region will be back in action again on June 29th as the Series will travel to Lake View Motor Speedway located in Nichols, South Carolina for $4,000 to win event.
