The track is incredible, you have to go. You won't find a better racing surface anywhere. Helfrich is one of the best track prep guys in the country.
As far as the comment about the programs running late...I've been there twice and never had any issues with that. Last year they had to rush the Summernantionals show because of rain and we were out of there before it got dark.
Must be Dems they need there sleep to be in a bad mod all the time. Just need something to Wine about LOL.
Or they have to work the next day and a Sunday night show that runs until 11 or 12 is rough on the average working race fan. Not everyone lives off the government.

Who lives of the Gov, Not me I get SS and thats it, No food stamp nothing.
If that mean ole witch Mother Nature will stay away, I’ll be there.
We live 2.5 hours away and have driven home after the race 2 out of the last 4 years. Got home 12:30-1:00 both years. That was leaving after the late model feature and skipping out on the mod feature. One of my favorite tracks I’ve been to
Anyone think this race would be worth a 4 hour trip...
Nice facility, great sprint car racing...
How about hell tour show?
Thanks for any info...
I'm a little biased as this is my "home" track, but if the weather holds it's worth the drive in my opinion. Unfortunately car counts are usually not real high, mid to low 20's, but the racing makes up for it. The Helfrichs' know how to prep a track, and are not afraid to farm it a little before feature time.
If you've never been before, I always sit on the backstretch facing the highway, but really there's not a bad seat. Good, reasonably priced food and drinks, and you can even bring coolers. I'll be there in my Hudson O'Neal shirt, sitting in the turn 3 area with my 6yo son of you wanna stop and chat. I just hope we get to see a race and the rain stays away.
