I don’t get a chance to go to many races anymore since Paducah is closed, so when I do get a chance, it freaking rains. Was going to Granite City Friday for Summer Nationals and forecast has been decent all week. Now it’s a 50% chance of rain. ENOUGH WITH THE RAIN ALREADY... GEEZ

Ohio sprint speedweek is going on right now and they are 2 for 5. Atomic rained out tonight so they are now trying to get Wayne county (rained out Monday) in tonight instead

I would like to see the Summer Nationals use some flex scheduling like the All Stars are doing. Go to Peoria tonight since Belle-Clair is rained out, then go to Fayette County on June 26th.

Portsmouth just cancelled Saturday racing due to flooding. I was there last weekend and things were fine. The rain this week is insane, again.

Wayne County in Ohio is planning to run tonight as the backup plan. They were the backup plan yesterday & got rained out. Mad props to them for going out on a limb to let the All Stars get some shows in. Sucks for the tracks cause Larson was supposed to run all week (probably thru tonight) so the tracks probably lose out on not only a big gate but a potential real big gate.

Also, on the flex scheduling, I have noticed Eldora do a couple "early starts" this year for shows. They did it for the Let's Race Two Saturday show of USAC & WoO. Got rained out part way thru & is rescheduled for July. They were also planning to do it this past Saturday for the All Stars but got rained out. Hard to do that on a weeknight show, but Saturday/Sunday shows, it could be done especially in this day of social media being able to communicate things to the masses fairly quickly.
