FAIRBURY - July 26 & 27 - WOO LMS - Prairie Dirt Classic - EVENT INFO - DRIVERS LIST.
Regarding the announcement...... An increase of the purse would certainly benefit the race teams but what does FALS gain? More participants and bigger crowds?..... IMO the venue is bulging at the seams and its becoming tougher to fight the large crowds the last few years. More seating and parking must be addressed for this event to expand. Frankly, I enjoy and appreciate FALS more while attending the Summer Nationals and other special events. For me that's when the real charm of Fairbury shines bright.
Fairbury really needs to replace the seating on the front stretch. I know someone said its historic but dont let a "historic" outdated and unsafe grandstand hold the facility back! Build nice, new and large grandstands out front.

With no roof???? That matters to a lot of the fans, they are attached to those old stands. How are they unsafe?
They are super crammed and you cant even walk up the aisles. You can put a roof over the new stands. The money that has been coming in is enough to cover it. That is a fact.

That would be nice, most of the time when a covered stands is torn down the roof is not replaced. A new covered stands closer to the track would be real nice!!

I have to agree, I'm glad they now have pay per view and or fast pass.
