I've never been to Owatona but have been to Deer Creek once a few years back. Pretty syre Lanigan cleaned up but the racing was phenomenal. The people that live in the area of Deer Creek Speedway are truly blessed with an amazing track. I couldn't believe their water truck. Once lap and the track is ready to go... Huskerdirt would love it!

It was there for 23 years (1982-2004)...wish it was still there!

Is the track at the fairgrounds totally gone?

We're down to one old fairgrounds track that is barely active in SE Minnesota. Coming up on July 18th, the Dodge County Speedway in Kasson will have its annual fair race. I'm looking forward to it - hope to keep the fair races going for years to come.
