Next years purse is $63,000 more but first place is still 53k. All other positions will pay $1,000.00 more-plus $1,000.00 lap leader money for laps 10,20,30,40,50,60,70,80,90 & 100. The feature race will be 101 laps instead of 80. As of now-this is for next year only because of some new sponsorship $$. 

As far as JD goes, I'm very suprised he was able to hang around even in the top 10.
I kept expecting him to pull off and call it a night or at least cut a tire down. He wavered between 4th and 6th after the rf fender came off.

Hey, i wasn’t trying to be a smart butt at all. You are very correct- I think after this week-ends racing, lots of fans will have it circled on the 2020 calendar! I for sure will be there. The racing is like Bobby Pierce stated-“like Eldora use to be.” I-80 is proof that tracks can present a great racing surface if they are willing to work for it. 3 days of extreme heat, wind & racing- but the track conditions were awesome - hats off to all involved at I-80! 🏁🏁

Too bad they didn't interview Tim. Would have been nice to hear his thoughts on the incident.

I thought the same thing but, like today not last night. Give him a night to cool down and see what he really thinks. I would like to see more interviews with drivers during the week. Just to get their perspective on how the week went and or a particular race.

Can you really blame them though. Pierce fans have to hear about how Bobby drives someone dirty but, they can't speak up when it happens to him but, on the other I understand what your saying. He does it therefore they should keep quite when it does happen to him. Although I'm on the side if you do drive someone dirty you should expect to be paid back to you and you then should say we're even and move on.

The difference is Bobby races hard to go FORWARD. I have never saw him run into someone simply because they are faster.

I don't think it took him long to realize he may have said something out of emotion that he shouldn't have. In his race recap interview he backed off and wouldn't even say Tims name.

The bottom line is there will always be good guys and bad guys in racing like everything else. And which one you are depends on which side of the coin you are on. That's what make racing exciting. And from day one this race has constantly delivered as one of the best shows of the year! Congrats to Bobby, now on to the next race. For me that will be until Knoxville.
