You can see a trend where the track starts out fast up top, then it goes away and then the bottom is the preferred groove, at least in 25 laps, I wonder over a 100 laps if the track will transition back and forth with all three lanes being the best at different stages of the race? If so it should be a barn burner. For my guys sake I pray he can calm down and maybe run middle low effectively and not have the rr quarter bracing hanging off it after 20 laps, I'm not holding my breath, I think this may be a Moran, Gundaker kind of race. Unless the bottom wears out late...

B-Shepp may be tough, as well.
I think Fergy will do well for 50 laps and probably break.
Just his horrible misfortunate.
I'd love to see someone like him pull off the major upset.

The PDC could very well be the B-Shepp show. Sets overall fast time... In his 25 lapper he made it look like he was out for a Sunday drive. He could run low, high, middle any were on the track. While pulling away from the rest of the field.

I agree somewhat, but on this track anyone who hits the setup and tires right could come from any starting position to win. I've seen it on a regular Saturday night show of 30 laps. 100 laps on this track is a long time to work your way to the front, and lapped traffic will surely have an effect on the outcome. Probably why they have a record number of people there to see the PDC.Originally posted by WildBill32 View PostThe PDC could very well be the B-Shepp show. Sets overall fast time... Looks like section I. Real good view of turns 1&2. Good overall of whole track. My usual regular Saturday night seat.Originally posted by Shiny Side Up 18 View Post
Thanks for your updates, spot on as usual.

I just wish FALS would use a format like I-80’s. FALS’s track and racing is too good to not have either actual heat races the first night (instead of what they call qualifying features with way too many cars in each), or two separate full nights of racing. FALS is one of the few DLM tracks still on my bucket list, but I hope they change the format before I get there next year. I’ll still be coming, regardless! And I can’t wait!Originally posted by fryefan View PostIt was good racing last night, but the racing at the Silver Dollar Nationals last week was definitely better.

Yeah I would rather see 2 nights of heats, b mains and A-main for 15,000 to win each night but, they have a good thing going so, no since hanging.Originally posted by bullring View PostI agree Terry. Much rather see 6 or 8 heats than 4 features. Gives more guys a chance to win one. Start bshepp on the pole of a feature kind of takes the drama out of it.
