Most over rated dirt racer?

Bloomquist cant win in a car that isn't working well. I'd say his talent was masked by what he had compared to who he was racing. He struggled in the early Woo years, but never before that.

I respect that......I just figured with the bud sponsor and nice rig racing regional or regular shows that he had nice stuff back then.

I'll have to give him more benefit of the doubt......guessing I'm relying on that old " first impression" adage

Only if you ignore the facts that BOTH parties stated. i mean, everyone rants about how classy the DB bunch is, do you think they stooped to a level of lying and making a story up to make Bobby look better? Doubtful, if that were the case I see them just saying they couldn't agree on contract terms or something along those lines.

Gonna go outside what everyone else is saying and go with Max Blair. He's made the DoD top 25 a couple of times and is winning the fan vote for Mansfield, but they guy rarely goes more than 3-4 hours away from home. Most times when the big dogs are in PA & Eastern Ohio, he stays on the porch and beats up on the underfunded and/or washed up locals.

If what I'm hearing is correct they both kind of took the high road as not to air each other's dirty laundry between them......happens all the time when relationships don't work out.......it's not that uncommon unless you're a bridge burner.
I know what I've heard from some pretty reliable sources that I trust.....that's all I got, nothing more......maybe they were all wrong about it.

I just do a lot of listening when it's time to stop talking and listen ........that's all.

Thanks for the insight MB, I should probably give him a much closer look......unlike some on here that don't get the concept, when everyone else is singing the same tune but me ......it's probably not everyone else that's wrong about a driver.

This is a pretty easy question to answer
1. 21jr Billy Moyer Jr. = not sure how he gets the sponsors to fund his racing career
2. B1 Brent Larson = they sure chat him up on the WoOlms Fast Pass, I guess because of his sponsorship from Drydene Oil which I don't know why he received it, not on his driving capabilities , his nickname should be Mr. Provisional

I think running MBH cars was a mistake when he first started with the WoO. He was visiting most of the tracks for the very first time, and there wasn't any setup info for most of those tracks in those cars. They were very much a regional thing.

Thing is you got to start some were.. Seen big name drivers. get new car and go no were. there is only 1 first place in Dirt racing the means all the rest lost.. But he try ed and you have to give that to him.

I don't think Overton is overrated in any way, shape or form. The kid is very talented. However, going touring for the very first time is already a huge learning curve, adding another curve on top of it wasn't doing him any favors at all.
