yes--all tracks have ups and downs--84 degrees forecast--hot outside already---I know the track guys have been pouring water on the track and farming, throughout the day---let's hope they hit it right, and that somehow they can keep moisture in the track for 100 laps--keep your fingers crossed---I know that Cedar Lake track prep guys are right more often than they're wrong, but it is an inexact science--delicate balance--keep your fingers crossed

From what I’ve been told in speaking with a few different people in the know is that the race teams are struggling with how to get the car to handle (rotate and still have forward traction) the way they want on the 40 on all four corners rule. Probably why some of those Bloomquist cars ran so strong because they drive very straight. Heckanast clearly found a good balance. That’s as impressive as I’ve ever seen him run.

Cedar Lake is difficult because turns #1 and #2 are very high banked and turns #3 and #4 are banked, but the banking is not as much. The track is enough competition by itself and then you have to contend with the cars.
