Track officials had to make sure everybody's blinky head thing had a full charge. Been to a few races where blinking hats, glasses, shoes, and glo stick things were quite popular, amongst the 4, 5, and 6 year olds.

The point is that it could have been done in a lot less time. The hour and a half delay was way too long.

I have been there 6 times this was the worst i have seen the track no need to take over a hour to prep the track if it was right the first time

I got this race off my bucket list 3 years ago. It’s a great race track. But when there I was not a fan of the almost 2 hours of track prep before the feature. I thought track was fine before. It really killed my long drive home to Alabama the next day.

I wait about 362 days a year to watch a race live. If I have to wait a extra hour and a half to watch a feature like I did on Saturday, no problem. I’ll take in the atmosphere, walk the pits and merchandise area, I’d rather wait a little then watch a repeat of the crap we saw Thursday night.

I would guess there are another 10,000 or so that would agree with you. Sometimes you can feel the crowd get antsy and stuff over intermissions but it was not the case there. last night. Was a ton of fun and a great race.
