Surprised this hasn't been mentioned yet, but BPR has partnered with Viper Motorsports for the rest of 2019 as well as 2020. The program will remain the same but Pierce will be powered by Martin's Pro Power Engines. The partnership will debut at the World 100. Shawn says Schaefer's Oil is joining the fold in 2020 as well. Kyle Hardy is now driving for Billy Hicks, but is still supposed to be driving Martin's ICON part-time as well so we'll see how this partnership effects that.

Shawn Martin posted a news release on facebook yesterday. As far as I know it's just a partnership for them to run Martin's engines. Bobby still owns the team, Bob owns the hauler which he expects Bobby to purchase from him at the end of the season per a DoD interview a week or 2 ago.Originally posted by BTExpress View PostWhere was this news announced? Does Bob still own the team and Martin coming on as the engine sponsor, or did Martin buy the team from Bob?

It was posted on both of their Facebook accounts... the way I read it’s just going to be a motor sponsorship.. still running xr1’s and pierce cars.
Shawn also stated that there was big news coming from BWRC in the next few weeks as well.

Ya Martin and Bobby posted it. Wonder if Bobby will dabble in a ICON chassis. Either way like seeing Bobby pick up another big sponser, I guess the t shirts aren't hurting him like some want to claim....

Not 100% positive on this but- I think Koker Trucking owns the hauler & Bob owns the trailer. Like Ryan21mid stayed: The DOD article quoted Bob saying that Bobby would purchase the trailer at the end of the year.
