His house is right on the racetrack itself???? Wow!!!!!!
Compared to how far Clanton and BShepp are away, yes. He is literally 5 minutes down the road. I think his shop if I’m not mistaken is on 42, same as the track.
Just holding one team to a different standard than others.
Up in the air who my next “favorite†driver is. Really losing hope on Bloomer getting anywhere back to “normalâ€.
Very true Lanigan not being there is a big surprise. Glad BShepp is giving someone else a chance to win 50 grand!
I don’t believe he cares for Florence. And now with a family, yes, here again, shocker, he may want to spend time with his FAMILY. <<Not directed at you Zooker.

BShep deserves a break. Lanigan has used this time of year for vacation many times. Yes, it’s odd, considering he lives just down 42 from the track, but I’m sure he has his reasons. Clanton is an odd situation too. If it’s not a WoO show, Eldora or Senoia, it’s a shock to see him anywhere. I could go on about why certain drivers don’t show up at certain shows, but bottom line is, it’s their call. I wish I could see the Top 25 at every big show I attend, but that rarely ever happens. I’ll take the 95% I see — like this weekend at Florence. I’m a happy fan.
this goes back to what JD was trying to explain about point racing and not a member of that scanation it very tuff to get in
That's why regional/local guys should just stay home. If you are not a member of the sanction, only half the starting positions are open to you, you are teched differently, and you are out-gunned.

There is only 2-4 provisionals, or am I missing something?
I dunno about being teched differently, they all run the same crap anymore. We have seen them play hard ball with a variety of people.

Every tour guy goes in the race.
If have seen the tech firsthand. Two cars parked side by side. Both built by the same company with the same mass production body panels. One a Lucas regular, one a local guy who had the exact same car. Local guy failed. Regular passed.
The part that failed had passed all summer long on two regulars cars. You could buy 10 more just like it that came off a CNC machine the same day.

Like you-I will take my 95% & also be happy. Great racing last night and hoping tonight will be great as well. Just getting ready to leave the motel for the track & asking myself who I am going with. With the racy track-100 laps & the field of drivers that’s a dang tough choice to make. 🏁🏁
Shane got screwed by Lucas several years ago at Dixie. He said he would never run with them again. I think he has ran very many of their shows since them. He’s pretty loyal to to WOO.
