A guy that used to work with Bloomer for a couple years or so, younger. Mid twenties, he branched out on his own and started the business. Don’t know of any besides Michael.

Stinger was started by JT Kerr racing equipment. JT is the grandfather of Tommy Kerr who is an employee of Blount Excavating & part time driver for Blount Motorsports. (Donald McIntosh)

The owners last name is King (father/son) but not Ryan King and his father who recently bought Warrior Race Cars from the Goddard Family. He is a good fabricator who did work for bloomer for a while.

The Stinger cars are built by Chase King who is a former student of mine at Seymour High in Tennessee. A few guys around east Tennessee use them. King himself, Trevor Sise, Zach Sise, Layne Clifton.

I am pretty sure you are right Fast Ford on that. Page is a smart guy who is not afraid to try stuff. He can work magic on a grt but has won in a bunch of different chassis after he worked his magic on them.

Back in the day, a lot of East TN regulars had Stinger cars, including the late great Scott “Superman” Sexton. He was the best wheelman I’ve seen and his car was always extremely fast!!! Miss him dearly.

03 Oliver Gentry has a Stinger & runs 525/LLM. Mainly at Senoia, Dixie, Rome GA area & won some! I think it's one of Page's old cars, pretty sure but not certain!

If i remember correctly the kings bought the company that previously built the stinger cars and kept the name but the cars they put out today are nothing alike their predecessor. Kinda like a pre and post rumely longhorn

The car Oliver Gentry has was a brand new car. The Cars that Michael runs are built specifically for him. We bring them to our shop and assemble them. Chase Kings fabrication work is second to none. Jking you are correct, the only thing the same is the name and its actually 'STINGER BY KCW".
