When is Jimmy O coming home to Scott?

There wasn't a big 'relationship' between Jimmy and Scott for most of the time Jimmy drove those cars I don't think. Jimmy parked away from Scott on most occasions and the rumor was he wouldn't tell Scott what they were doing. I'm not positive on how it all fell out, but the story at the time was that Mike Reece didn't like Scott and therefore tried a (I think) Barry Wright? before driving Lanigans car one night and eventually switching to the Club 29. Mike went on to sponsor Scott so it's hard to say what really happened. Maybe sponsoring Scott was an attempt to get some cars bought, Idk I asked Jimmy one night why he don't drive Scott's cars anymore and he replied "he won't sell us one".

I’m sure bloomer has a good reason. Not to make a Bloomer chassis available to Owens to buy. Not sure? If agreement was to share car setup info etc?

There is a pic on dirt on dirt or Chris, Scott, and Randy having a conversation in the pits at I-80. I'm sure Randy is still helping in the building of the cars.I'm sure Cody is encouraging the selling of more cars to make more money, to sell more parts, to sell more labor, and to spoon feed more intellectual property to people willing to pay the money, especially guys running at a national level.

I can see Cody wanting to sale more chassises. But, realistically which driver out there now. Would be suited for his chassis? A lot of the young guys are gassers

At the time Reece started sponsoring Scott he had already sold his race team that Jimmy was the driver for- he had no reason to try & buy cars because he wasn’t an owner anymore. Also when Reece originally started the race team & Scott agreed to build him cars-the driver was to be BillyOgle Jr. not Jimmy Owens. Bloomer expects trust & loyalty in the people he sales cars to. Henceforth the separation with Owens & also Dwayne Hommell back in the day. (At that time Scott & Dwayne were using the Warrior “Black Magic” Chasis that were a little different from the standard warrior.) There were reasons Scott seperate from them which need not be discussed here.
Scott & Chris have buried the hatchet-maybe Scott & Owens will too? In my opionion it would be Cody’s decision “if” that were to happen.
Part#2- Would Jimmy still want a Bloomquist Chasis
Part#3- Reece ‘s $$ might not support a Bloomquist Chasis- (there were reasons Reece left Scott) but remember Mike Reece is now a sponsor & not the team owner.

Could be an interesting off season-who knows??

When Jimmy dominant in bloomquist. Juiced tires was big reason. He got busted in NDRL Scott no sell him one why would he after that?

Good points by everone, maybe back then when Jimmy was winning everything he was Scott's biggest competition. That doesn't explain why he won't sell one now. If Jimmy was in a SBR car he would be a title contender for sure, and SBR is what Madden said when talking about the car he was driving in victory lane, no Sweet-Bloomquist...

Jimmy did have alot/most of his success in Team Zero cars, but he also had Chris Fox turning wrenches.

that is true tire guy , i also remember scott being pretty frustrated in an interview one night after owens just dominated the race and bloomer made a statement to the fact that jimmy would not share info and wasnt being a team player....i thought then , did you give him the car or did he buy it, i dont care who you are , if i buy it , it,s mine and im not gone tell you jack sh!t if i dont want to.....JMO.....

If I remember correctly, when the whole Team Zero thing came along, all the Zero cars were expected to park next to each other and share information regarding set up. Everything was up for discussion except for tires. You could do your own thing tire wise and not have to share it.

I've heard several different stories as to what caused the divide between 0 and 20. If you go back and look at some of the old pictures, all the Zero cars were together but the 20 would be somewhere else. I've heard Jimmy got mad because the others wouldn't share tire strategy and I've heard that the others got mad because Jimmy wouldn't share set up. Who knows? I can't remember if the "he said, they said" stories started before or after the 0 and 20 traded paint at a Winchester, VA Lucas race.

they can expect all they want , but if it is bought and paid for by me , then its mine and i will do what i want with it ...one thing i have always wandered is why jimmy has not jigged up and built his own chassis , he does own a chassis shop , he did tell me one time that when he started slowing down with the racing , he would probably dable around with building one , but who knows........
