More Driver have a chance to win money and make a feature... Would be cool if it was triple $10k to win races. Twin $10K for mods and a $10k show for late models. I'm sure most modified guys are in support of this.

It was never a $10k Late Model race. It was $3k at one point. It was a $10k Modified race. Now it split into two features giving more driver and teams the chance to earn some money. It will likely bring few more cars because now they know they have a bette shot at making one of the two features.
