Steve Smith still competes locally around his home in Knoxville, TN. Mainly at Tazewell in limited late models but he does occasionally runs a super late model. Still the smiling Steve- just lots more gray hair!

In all fairness the dream probably would not have raised its purse if it had not been for the million paying so much last year

I know that is why eldora says they did it. My point was many races and series have upped their pay in some form or another this year and i believe alot of that was stimulated by the "million" quite a few purses increased this year weather it was this years actual or announcements of increases for next year. In my opinion if the million did nothing more than stir the pot a little bit it was a success
