I would say a lot contributes to the payout rising so much in recent years, attendance is obviously way up judging by the lines and crowd I saw Saturday night I've never seen it like that that place was a madhouse. Also with the technology of being able to print tickets on demand anywhere from a handheld with people selling all over the grounds including in the campgrounds all day I'm sure helps a ton. 54 tickets for $20 probably gets people to chip in a little more than the normal $5 for an arm length as well .. suckered me in each night!

I usually get $5 bucks of 50/50 tickets at whatever track I'm at. I look at it as a donation to whatever charity is running the 50/50. I did win about $400 at Illiana Speedway once.

Jimmy is a local driver down here in our neck of the woods. Nobody liked him before he won the 50/50, so I’m guessing he won’t be any more popular after lol. Maybe he can win one without cheating now.
