Racing Announcer Larry Long Passes Away

The guy that LOVED RACING, Washington Redskins, Broadcasting, and ALL HIS FRIENDS is dancing in the press box at the big race track in the heaven! Lawrence Demont Long ( Larry ) passed away at 12:10 pm on Tuesday September 11, 2019. Memorial Service Saturday September 14, 2019 at Tabernacle Baptist Church, Rockfish NC .

I was just wondering how he was doing. Great guy, I ran with the Carolina Clash for probably the first 8 or 9 years and Larry was always very good to me. Always a smile and good word, the racers upstairs now have a new voice to listen to!
